PRAIRIE GODMOTHERS

Prairie Godmothers is a growing network of environmentally responsible gardeners who offer products and services designed to improve your outdoor spaces. We bridge the gap between going green and knowing how to get there. With Prairie Godmothers, you will have beautiful gardens that are 100% earth friendly. If you want to go green but don’t know how to get there, Prairie Godmothers will show you the way.

At Prairie Godmothers, our mission is to protect the planet for this and future generations. We grow green communities by sharing what we know…one garden at a time.

FOUNDING GODMOTHER - JACKIE RIFFICE

Jackie Riffice is an accomplished business woman with a whimsical eye and an entrepreneurial spirit. Jackie is a master gardener and a garden artist who loves to watch her floral canvas unfold. She found a way combine her interests by founding Prairie Godmothers in 2008. Prairie Godmothers was recognized that same year as a semifinalist in the Innovate Illinois competition.

Jackie believes we are responsible for nurturing the earth and leaving it better than we found it. Protecting the planet can be accomplished in ways big and small and Jackie provides easy ways for anyone to make a difference, beginning right at home and in the back yard.

Raised in the Chicago southland, Jackie is a suburban girl with a ‘thing’ for Chicago, one of the greenest cities on the planet. She lives with her husband and two awesome teenagers.
