Workshops
We conduct hands-on workshops designed to share our message of conservation with others.
Topics include composting, rainwater collection, gardening basics for children and youth, birding, and designing a rain garden. Other topics focus on garden art such as cement castings with plant leaves.
Our workshops inform, educate, inspire, and spark creativity. And they are loads of fun! We joyfully interact with all kinds of groups including seniors, children with special needs, gardeners, students, and families. Come and grow along with your new garden!
Garden Design
We create and maintain outdoor spaces that are aesthetically pleasing, ecologically friendly and attuned to your tastes. Our open-air murals include rain gardens, shade gardens and cottage gardens.
Our specialty gardens have meditation, ethnic, prairie and literary themes to name a few.
Care and Tending
We revitalize tired gardens by clearing overgrown areas and
reusing existing plants in
new spaces. We plant small trees,
shrubs, native plants,
grasses and perennials to add variety and balance to existing
garden spaces.
Garden Coaching
Daisy or coreopsis? Should I
deadhead? Did I really plant that? Gardening is full of
questions; the Godmothers have the answers. When you don't know
or can't remember, we're there to help.
We provide customized
Azalea-to-Zinnia garden manuals with plant-by-plant care giving
instructions, and we are always available for 'cultivation
consultations.'
