Our service platform offers options to complement your personal gardening interest. Prairie Godmothers is pleased to handle all of the labor or we will work right next to you if you want to get your hands dirty.

We select only products that meet have the Prairie Godmothers stamp of approval and meet our earth-friendly and environmentally responsible standards.

We approve only local suppliers with healthy plants, fair business practices, and reasonable pricing. Staying close to home helps your local economy and it reduces the carbon footprint between our gardens and yours.

	Garden Design: A new garden space, just like a new living space, needs thought and planning. We begin with a conversation to understand how you want the garden to feel and how much time you can invest in the care and tending of that space. We assess the outdoor area and get familiar with the soil, sun exposure and other essential elements of the landscape. And just like a new living space, we’ll provide you with a palette of color and many many plant options. We mix native and perennial plants in innovative and interesting ways and specialize in theme gardens that are beautiful and benefcial to your landscape. Our specialty gardens have meditation, ethnic, prairie and native themes to name a few. The stunning Rain Garden, pictured top left, filters stormwater runoff before it enters our overworked sewer and river systems. The vibrant Bird and Butterfly Garden, pictured left, is a haven to beneficial birds and bugs.
	Instant Garden: If you can't wait for the 'POP!’, the Godmothers will roll in portable pots, planters and conversation pieces to give any space immediate color, interest and fragrance. After your garden blooms, we can take it back or you can keep it to add another dimension of beauty to your walkway, porch or yard.
	Updates, Facelifts and Transitions: When your garden needs a little something new and different, we’ll sprinkle ‘Prairie Dust’ for a brand new look. We revitalize tired gardens by clearing overgrown areas and reusing existing plants in new spaces. We tuck in shrubs, perennial and native plants and ornamental grasses to add variety and balance for a good look that’s good for the planet, too.
	Garden Coaching: Daisy or coreopsis? Should I deadhead? Did I really plant that? Gardening is full of questions; the Godmothers have the answers. When you don't know or can't remember, we're there to help. We provide customized Azalea-to-Zinnia garden manuals with plant-by-plant care giving instructions, and we are always available for 'cultivation consultations.
	Workshops: PRAIRIE GODMOTHERS offer workshops that inform, educate, inspire and spark creativity. We playfully interact with all kinds of groups including families, seniors, children with special needs, gardeners and students.
